Facebook menjerumuskanku pada dunia
maya. Mengenalkanku pada banyak orang meski sebenarnya tak ku kenal dalam
nyata. Hingga saat ini aku memiliki teman lebih dari 3000 di Facebook. Aku
hanya mengenal mereka secara nyata tak lebih dari sepertiga jumlah pertemanan
di Facebook, selebihnya entah siapa mereka. Sebelum aku punya akun Facebook aku
hanya memiliki teman tak jauh-jauh dan masih dalam lingkup satu kabupaten
(saja). Munculnya Facebook memperkenalkanku dengan orang yang tinggal di luar
Jawa, bahkan luar Indonesia. Banyak teman Facebookku yang berasal dari luar
negeri seperti Thailand, India, Filiphina, Arab, Inggris, Argentina, Madagaskar,
dll. Sungguh dunia maya memang mendekatkan yang jauh dan kadang menjauhkan yang
dekat. Sering kali aku dan mereka chating lewat Facebook meskipun bermodal google
translet. Kali ini aku dibikin kaget plus
terharu gara-gara dikirimi pesan lewat FB sama nenek-nenek yang tinggal
di desa kecil, di Argentina pula. Ini nih pesannya.. ASLI!

accepting me as a FB friend some time agoi! I' m an artist from Argentina. I
draw and paint watercolour mainly, but I also do mosaics. I live in a very
small village in the mointains. Although I am in contact with other artists in
Argentina, I like being in touch with those of other countries. Today I would
like to make a comment: My portrait of my daughter Laura, which you can see at
my FB page, was selected to be exhibited at the Museum of Art in Santa Fe,
Argentina, and there is a contest of the Public going on to vote for the
drawing they like most. So, if you would be so kind to have a look at the
drawings that are exhibited and if you like mine, would you please put your
